Following Good Sort for Facebook‘s launch last August, it received a huge amount of interest. It was featured on Mashable and was also described as “One of the best new social apps of 2012.” by The Next Web.

Following all the positive feedback we had, Firebird Apps and I have been working together once again with Kremsa Digital to further improve Good Sort for Facebook.

With these improvements came the requirement to update the app’s UI to support iPhone 5, adding Evernote functionality and making the website more responsive to mobile platforms.

I am excited to announce that the new version of Good Sort is now available on the App Store, and the new updated website is now live.

After many months of hard work, a collaboration between myself and Firebird Apps has finally come to fruition.

Introducing Good Sort for Facebook – an iPhone app that provides the ability to sort Facebook posts by popularity or by date. Users can discover which posts attracted the most likes, comments and shares. Upon finding the best posts, users can then collect their favourites.

I have just created a simple identity and website for Firebird Apps – a studio who design and produce apps. The Firebird Apps was launched to coincide with their first product, Good Sort for Facebook, an iPhone app that enables users to sort their Facebook posts by popularity and date. Good Sort is now available on the App Store.

My friends at Alphabetical Studio were asked to create an invitation for D&AD to host a workshop for this year’s New Blood festival. Alphabetical Studio decided to give something back to the institution that helped introduce them to the design industry.

Rather than simply sharing their recent work with the graduates, Alphabetical Studio decided to put the collective experience of their studio to better use. They set about compiling this A-Z directory bursting with practical tips and advice, along with helpful insights from other design professionals, to help the graduates as they journey from the classroom to the studio.

I contributed 3 bits of advice to the book (amongst some very esteemed company too!). Check out the complete book here.

Tomorrow morning, I’m running the London Marathon. It’s taken me 18 months of training (6 months in the gym, then a year of grueling road running 6 days a week), 3 pairs of running shoes and (according to my running watch) 1,058.34 miles / 156,939 calories since August 2011. I’ve ran rain or shine, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day etc etc.
