Tomorrow morning, I’m running the London Marathon. It’s taken me 18 months of training (6 months in the gym, then a year of grueling road running 6 days a week), 3 pairs of running shoes and (according to my running watch) 1,058.34 miles / 156,939 calories since August 2011. I’ve ran rain or shine, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day etc etc. I’m doing it for Macmillan Cancer Support, who do amazing work and need all the help they can get.
